Unable to startup Wildfire 4.0 with only the logo appeared then disappeared.

4 @4 |' X5 v' L' c0 C; XWhen startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched.

This issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.0 M8 \+ j- f; L5 F3 _. H% J3 f

To resolve this issue, there are two ways:

One way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.
4 v' K( s1 b% ]& A>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.
. \9 ]" c* S( N0 q>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT.4 c* j2 j7 Y+ J$ |

The other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.8 W: p! e" ^! f: E. Z+ m
>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
