the use of Code Case 2199, 2199-1, 2199-2, and 2199-3. These; ^* r& V* c5 |8 a( l/ _" O2 p' D) g
Cases address the use of 2.25Cr-1.6W-V-Cb (Grade 23) material
$ u, G# e$ w. n; ?: M6 T$ Xfor Section I applications. Table 1 of Code Case 2199-3 was. |8 J" P* Q6 u! q2 e
revised to ensure adequate material hardenability and to modify
+ r$ T" ^1 u) D, esubparagraph (b) to clarify hardness testing requirement. For
6 R7 a! ]; E9 G9 Q N# FTable 1, the maximum amount of N was reduced, the minimum
2 L* \. {0 g7 ^' r( m3 P; C& E& uamount of B was increased, a limit on Ni was added, a Ti
2 V4 }* L6 N+ n( }, srequirement was added and a Ti to N ratio was added. An
( O. z, e$ _- U+ R' f; z9 l# g' [exemption to the Ti:N ratio was included based on hardness test

(2199-3, 2199-2, etc.) could meet the chemistry requirements

/ j5 V$ {" l0 P# g% Umechanical properties following the normalizing heat treatment.
