1 B; q2 @* A8 F+ g  xOn May 12, Daewoo held a steel-cutting ceremony at its Okpo yard for a world largest ultra-large 18,000-teu boxship, ordered by AP Møller-Maersk of Denmark.

' u1 q5 l+ w6 vThe vessel is the first one of 18,000-teu series, contracted in February 2011.

6 a7 t' |  l3 SAfter the ceremony, the Okpo-based yard is to construct the boxship, 400m in length and 59m in breadth, for about a year and deliver it to the Danish owner by mid 2013.

Meanwhile, H.R.H. Crown Prince Frederik and H.R.H. Crown Princess Mary of Denmark, who are visiting Korea to view 'Expo 2012 Yeosu Korea', participated in the ceremony.

2012年5月12日，韩国大宇造船与海洋工程公司为丹麦AP穆勒-马士基集团承建的世界最大的集装箱船举行开工仪式。

据悉，这艘18000teu集装箱船在大宇造船旗下的玉浦船厂建造，全船长400米，船宽59米，船高73米，预计将在2013年中期交付。

# m3 F/ A/ c, q, F) s2011年2月21日，马士基宣布与韩国大宇造船海洋株式会社(DSME)签署合同，购买10艘3E（Triple-E）系列集装箱船。每艘船的价格约在1.9亿美元。同时马士基保留了再度签署另外20艘3E船舶订单的可能。

依照马士基集团的36亿美元订单，大宇造船将在2015年前，陆续打造20艘全球最大集装箱船。
