以下來自GB-T 2408-2008塑料 燃燒性能的測定 水平法和垂直法

+ r7 p3 o* ~  D5 r1 T2 V- Z根据下面给的判据，应将材料分成HB、HB40和HB75（HB＝水平燃烧）级。
# N; q( y! R3 w, G; f. k( N8.4.1 HB级材料应符合下列判据之一：
a) 移去引燃源后，材料没有可见的有焰燃烧；
% N1 ^. {: j- U( z' j! vb) 在引燃源移去后，试样出现连续的有焰燃烧，但火焰前端未超过100mm标线；
. B2 ^" E# I3 Y( {1 {- |, Pc) 如果火焰前端超过100mm标线，但厚度3.0mm~13.0mm/其线性燃烧速率未超过40mm/min,或厚度低于3.0mm时未超过75mm/min；
d) 如果试验的厚度为3.0±0.2的试样，其线性燃烧速率未超过40mm/min，那么降至1.5mm的厚度时，就应自动地接受为该级。
8.4.2 HB40级材料应符合下列判据之一：
; j5 a2 \! k' {" Z" |a) 移去引燃源后，没有可见的有焰燃烧；
) i% |2 j% O% N* G- c' sb) 移去引燃源后，试样持续有焰燃烧，但火焰前端未达到100mm标线；
C）如果前端超过100mm标线，线性燃烧速率不超过40mm/min。
* {" t" W8 @! {8.4.3 HB75级材料，如果前端超过100mm标线，线性燃烧速率不应超过70mm/min。

The materials shall be classified HB, HB40 or HB75 (HB = horizontal burning) in accordance
: Y) D/ J) b; O$ w; D9 [' R! S4 hwith the criteria given below.
) j5 o+ e* n; B9 L$ J5 @% l5 g  ~8.4.1 A material classified HB shall conform to one of the following criteria:
a) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;
b) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, the

# A' d, k$ W0 K- z0 U6 {. Mc) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding

75 mm/min for a thickness of less than 3,0 mm;
d) if the linear burning rate does not exceed 40 mm/min for tests with 3,0 mm ± 0,2 mm
thickness, it shall automatically be accepted down to a 1,5 mm minimum thickness.

HB40可能明确了试样尺寸。HB可能不强制规定试样尺寸，所以给了范围。 薄的试样燃烧速率自然快一些、剧烈一些。
