fabrication. It is prepared by considering beginners as well as technical personnel already

2 A T6 i' W8 F, N; p7 ?- gThe book has seven chapters. Each of these were prepared by a group of experts from
, @& D% n; W l: Z: V+ h- V- j0 C, w8 t pdifferent parts of the world. The first chapter, the introduction, gives some definitions% @0 x1 \6 \. D% {! V
and classifications with some depth on the matrices and reinforcements for all types of4 C% f4 ]3 f; z8 E! ?8 v* E7 C
composite structures, including polymeric, metallic and ceramic matrix composites. More3 ]3 V' J4 q7 z( M2 h& ^2 F* l( U
detailed information about constituent materials (matrices and reinforcements) is provided
; F6 d7 E% a" V! Q* q4 U5 b8 bin chapter 2. Different processing techniques of polymer composites are discussed in the
2 ~+ Y4 h# @- }0 {/ A! B2 Kfollowing chapters, briefly: open mould (in Chapter 3) and closed mould (matched die)
2 ~* s* F: N" c3 g0 Tprocesses, filament winding (Chapter 4) and pultrusion (Chapter 5). The book ends with
8 p5 V; }# r9 ~2 B4 Kthe machining and joining processes commonly used for polymer composite structures.
