When startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched.$ @5 L' ~# |2 g

This issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.

0 ~0 e1 O# c1 H( v& wTo resolve this issue, there are two ways:
* p# q% d; L& l8 P, c8 M O9 L c- v9 Y7 ]. @
One way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.+ `; v8 K8 {# F$ v. X
>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.' r( f5 G9 x) p6 ~
>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT.

The other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.8 Y/ E- l; \ G! @( h
>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
