[求助] ASTM A335钢管是否必须做压扁试验

在国外采购的ASTM A335 P5 钢管,型号8”(219mm),壁厚8.18mm,国外工厂说合同中如果没有约定就不必做压扁试验和弯曲试验,理由是根据A335 附录说明及S3条规定压扁试验作为订货是选择要求,我的理解是A335 14条规定了压扁试验,那么就应该无条件的去做,英文我不太懂,哪位专家帮我落实一下。

14.1 Transverse or Longitudinal Tension Test and Flattening& z' w9 ~( s* U% _2 b6 X" z
Test, Hardness Test, or Bend Test—For material heat
1 d8 ^9 K/ s* l  R% h( B# Ctreated in a batch-type furnace, tests shall be made on 5 % of
, r( [7 q  w: Z& m; G( Xthe pipe from each treated lot (see Note 7). For small lots, at
3 q; U, f% ?: j. O7 K  vleast 1 pipe shall be tested. For material heat treated by the
  g% R  i. e' t/ gcontinuous process, tests shall be made on a sufficient number- h- ?' a5 D9 y5 U5 E
of pipe to constitute 5 % of the lot (see Note 7), but in no case
0 ?8 f! p" {+ Y9 O1 m; `' d9 Hless than 2 pipe.. ~7 A4 ^5 s, U# E4 i
NOTE 7—The term “lot” applies to all pipe of the same nominal size9 h* [0 v, M5 H3 Q; a/ i4 Y
and wall thickness (or schedule) which is produced from the same heat of7 ]- ~& a0 L* ~' [/ e4 l
steel and subjected to the same finishing treatment in a continuous
& I& K3 a! i- X5 U8 `" J7 {- gfurnace; when final heat treatment is in a batch-type furnace, the lot shall" m4 ?  j$ {7 ]4 a" ^
include only that pipe which is heat treated in the same furnace charge.) P1 v9 w! B# n. B/ q  k! R
14.2 Hardness Test:
$ E$ a8 Q# ]' d" \% u14.2.1 For pipe of Grades P91, P92, P122, P911, and P36,
) f' u# v! Q4 e) GBrinell, Vickers, or Rockwell hardness tests shall be made on+ E; i9 a6 {2 r5 x
a specimen from each lot (see Note 7).1 N8 c) K/ G' y& q
14.3 Bend Test:! ^: i7 Q& o# e1 J
14.3.1 For pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 25 and whose
! [2 s  ^8 {! l- ~* x" Ddiameter to wall thickness ratio is 7.0 or less shall be subjected
$ o& u- W# n; @' k3 kto the bend test instead of the flattening test. Other pipe whose
) r) n6 ~6 C, }# L9 g& _) b$ jdiameter equals or exceeds NPS 10 may be given the bend test- V2 @7 _0 Z9 L* @
in place of the flattening test subject to the approval of the6 _7 n# Q3 ]' ?/ J' [
purchaser.
- t' i* M# Z" m  s14.3.2 The bend test specimens shall be bent at room
; y6 w! t% B* O3 Q- ?temperature through 180° without cracking on the outside of
8 W& E& x  W5 D( d" O2 \the bent portion. The inside diameter of the bend shall be 1 in.1 R! ?' N; ~$ g+ u% {  @8 z' e
[25 mm].9 m* q* G) B2 }( E0 y; s8 Z1 r0 \
14.3.3 Test specimens for the bend test specified in 14.3! w5 G$ G; [' U  j, x
shall be cut from one end of the pipe and, unless otherwise
: {2 Z  S+ p9 B* C, X2 Bspecified, shall be taken in a transverse direction. One test0 j# b8 Y; }5 k4 J; j& }5 D
specimen shall be taken as close to the outer surface as possible, m9 r. m" \/ d2 \4 v
and another from as close to the inner surface as possible. The; }$ [6 n9 n( F! I- y' q3 ]
specimens shall be either 1⁄2 by 1⁄2 in. [12.5 by 12.5 mm] in* O0 s2 x/ J7 \' [! w6 p
section or 1 by 1⁄2 in. [25 by 12.5 mm] in section with the
# n& s# ?9 t* `corners rounded to a radius not over 1⁄16 in. [1.6 mm] and need6 s; c6 j- x2 T  C
not exceed 6 in. [150 mm] in length. The side of the samples3 z$ J( S$ M2 I. J" R0 k6 G4 a
placed in tension during the bend shall be the side closest to the
5 K- G  b6 t8 i2 [, Y. v8 ?; zinner and outer surface of the pipe, respectively.

附录SUPPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
6 q: F) w! G; P$ s7 h! G  S7 ]One or more of the following supplementary requirements shall apply only when specified in the
# R  R' |: O! d+ D# G' f# V) P0 ~purchase order. The purchaser may specify a different frequency of test or analysis than is provided+ {3 \. k5 b2 V! b
in the supplementary requirement. Subject to agreement between the purchaser and manufacturer,! N4 d, @* j. ~+ [5 `2 t$ L
retest and retreatment provisions of these supplementary requirements may also be modified.0 c  y$ v; g6 R# H6 F0 s# Q6 O  ^
S1. Product Analysis
: h  T$ O/ D. _( aS1.1 Product analysis shall be made on each length of pipe.8 ^" b7 A! D# A; B  K) J2 i) S, L
Individual lengths failing to conform to the chemical composition/ ^7 v7 l/ O. U* V9 i2 {/ f6 \
requirements shall be rejected." A& B( C* X9 L# _# r
S2. Transverse Tension Tests
- H6 V" `/ O  e- F% ]( g: K9 GS2.1 A transverse tension test shall be made on a specimen
9 v$ B& f  J: h: }3 W. |from one end or both ends of each pipe NPS 8 and over. If this5 h0 f6 Q8 Z, n3 X
supplementary requirement is specified, the number of tests per6 k; F: z5 k0 ~. t0 d0 A/ B! A
pipe shall also be specified. If a specimen from any length fails
: c5 G- D! L  w9 u" ato meet the required tensile properties (tensile, yield, and- K2 w6 f/ U+ l+ }# @! L7 Q5 b# }) V& ]; W% S
elongation), that length shall be rejected subject to retreatment' n( \) O- t+ P3 x' f! Z' E( v9 P
in accordance with Specification A 999/A 999M and satisfactory
! u/ I9 d  u. @8 x. P, Uretest., X1 f( u. O/ J# S6 {- z/ w
S3. Flattening Test
' @1 h3 ~" a. `2 z0 QS3.1 The flattening test of Specification A 999/A 999M
6 ?, K$ _$ o1 G( u) x  e* gshall be made on a specimen from one end or both ends of each! r2 B$ _2 C- U& _: H
pipe. Crop ends may be used. If this supplementary requirement* {( [, X5 G& M& f) x' \7 P6 G& [0 L
is specified, the number of tests per pipe shall also be% R9 ]* r- r4 u2 E
specified. If a specimen from any length fails because of lack
+ u6 o( U# k* |. R5 }" c, Iof ductility prior to satisfactory completion of the first step of% O* I9 ]0 h* d
the flattening test requirement, that pipe shall be rejected& @* a# C: t( M1 d$ \
subject to retreatment in accordance with Specification A 999/
  a% `* {! B# e+ y$ Z1 q# n6 K9 jA 999M and satisfactory retest. If a specimen from any length+ N9 y3 g/ a( s6 X: x- T; O: F& {
of pipe fails because of a lack of soundness that length shall be
3 G0 t- ^# i8 @rejected, unless subsequent retesting indicates that the remaining
5 u4 h0 I% f6 w/ x" [! Q+ a2 Hlength is sound. The bend test of 13.2 shall be substituted) I0 z3 e7 ?) L2 I
for the flattening test for pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 25
* g3 q) i3 v, ~# A/ R! Xand whose diameter to wall thickness ratio is 7.0 or less.
