[求助] ASTM A335钢管是否必须做压扁试验

在国外采购的ASTM A335 P5 钢管,型号8”(219mm),壁厚8.18mm,国外工厂说合同中如果没有约定就不必做压扁试验和弯曲试验,理由是根据A335 附录说明及S3条规定压扁试验作为订货是选择要求,我的理解是A335 14条规定了压扁试验,那么就应该无条件的去做,英文我不太懂,哪位专家帮我落实一下。

the pipe from each treated lot (see Note 7). For small lots, at3 [4 u7 P: ^7 L/ P
least 1 pipe shall be tested. For material heat treated by the

of pipe to constitute 5 % of the lot (see Note 7), but in no case

NOTE 7—The term “lot” applies to all pipe of the same nominal size

* ?* M8 D; d" O7 psteel and subjected to the same finishing treatment in a continuous
* L9 ^& y7 r( x2 @* Yfurnace; when final heat treatment is in a batch-type furnace, the lot shall: A) P# v1 e& w& Z8 h1 d: u; P
include only that pipe which is heat treated in the same furnace charge.+ \2 K% B5 n2 Z, Q4 g
14.2 Hardness Test:
/ v% G9 b7 H# Q7 s+ U14.2.1 For pipe of Grades P91, P92, P122, P911, and P36,
7 S+ h: h! C+ h% y! ?/ T" NBrinell, Vickers, or Rockwell hardness tests shall be made on
; F8 p$ [2 `) `' C) s% k9 Y8 Ca specimen from each lot (see Note 7).! p7 N8 ^& k$ p6 j
14.3 Bend Test:
9 `; Y! ]7 c: l. X' j) ~14.3.1 For pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 25 and whose2 y: m  ?; a+ q& ~7 g
diameter to wall thickness ratio is 7.0 or less shall be subjected
+ ?0 {7 t1 P$ d4 l7 g9 x/ T# x& A- S) jto the bend test instead of the flattening test. Other pipe whose
' N6 \& n9 d) f4 E# h4 Ediameter equals or exceeds NPS 10 may be given the bend test
( S7 P) Q. {9 X3 L8 G# d4 n3 b( \$ @% oin place of the flattening test subject to the approval of the
  O) k; `- t, Vpurchaser.
5 z  Q! ]4 U0 ^14.3.2 The bend test specimens shall be bent at room
- r" K  {3 d# P& |  m+ Wtemperature through 180° without cracking on the outside of
4 x2 m( l. e& @8 t$ `# S, ~the bent portion. The inside diameter of the bend shall be 1 in.
, g( N8 y* F8 y6 V/ x0 _* G[25 mm].
2 H' l$ i/ f- b$ A) C2 v4 d( X14.3.3 Test specimens for the bend test specified in 14.3* n9 ]1 O5 R: n7 k
shall be cut from one end of the pipe and, unless otherwise
, m5 r9 y$ \4 u4 O6 jspecified, shall be taken in a transverse direction. One test
, o9 w* N4 d4 S' {specimen shall be taken as close to the outer surface as possible
4 I" Q* R* R/ S( k" kand another from as close to the inner surface as possible. The
* l4 w6 ?; c+ ]# ~3 g/ Lspecimens shall be either 1⁄2 by 1⁄2 in. [12.5 by 12.5 mm] in
( q: \% W5 @1 b) Nsection or 1 by 1⁄2 in. [25 by 12.5 mm] in section with the; n9 s" K1 |. _( l) l$ C
corners rounded to a radius not over 1⁄16 in. [1.6 mm] and need& J$ r8 M; A9 T; Y$ a& G7 g
not exceed 6 in. [150 mm] in length. The side of the samples3 P3 T, R) c- [4 C1 r3 o4 ?- I
placed in tension during the bend shall be the side closest to the8 ~3 B6 H2 J, j' p; |2 i
inner and outer surface of the pipe, respectively.  T" Y. W. F* s( t- z
7 a3 X0 H) o; z# s& D
附录SUPPLEMENTARY REQUIREMENTS
& M) S- _3 b" s7 T& e- [One or more of the following supplementary requirements shall apply only when specified in the, f8 Q) Y$ s) P; L* E# d
purchase order. The purchaser may specify a different frequency of test or analysis than is provided
5 {3 c& J. \8 bin the supplementary requirement. Subject to agreement between the purchaser and manufacturer,
' N$ F) A! a6 c( a$ Bretest and retreatment provisions of these supplementary requirements may also be modified.6 [2 P( v4 S/ k: @
S1. Product Analysis7 E, g3 @& W$ w/ j1 K
S1.1 Product analysis shall be made on each length of pipe.
0 j' H/ K+ ]2 p# h; F5 bIndividual lengths failing to conform to the chemical composition
$ ]+ X4 s; k6 Y) F4 @- \requirements shall be rejected.) K' ~( b5 L; s
S2. Transverse Tension Tests  @. |' l: C! o0 k
S2.1 A transverse tension test shall be made on a specimen
; |& f- m) u& m- c6 m! u& N: ~from one end or both ends of each pipe NPS 8 and over. If this
: o6 i  e' f) t6 [supplementary requirement is specified, the number of tests per
8 r* z: }( _2 s3 `6 Vpipe shall also be specified. If a specimen from any length fails
  o& m6 E( ^& e6 ^to meet the required tensile properties (tensile, yield, and: P. P/ g( F2 H" X$ Y
elongation), that length shall be rejected subject to retreatment4 `+ C% G7 G9 S: n( \) |
in accordance with Specification A 999/A 999M and satisfactory6 J- E( }* @0 O2 l0 q: p/ a
retest.  v7 A1 F+ w+ j/ u
S3. Flattening Test) _( G; |8 d5 Y9 N; c2 ~
S3.1 The flattening test of Specification A 999/A 999M
1 u- S+ N% B; {; k' k) ?6 w4 rshall be made on a specimen from one end or both ends of each3 w7 f# l5 v' p7 L6 u* A( G
pipe. Crop ends may be used. If this supplementary requirement3 P  E: C& I% V# F, ?) _
is specified, the number of tests per pipe shall also be
) V' h$ S" W+ u; bspecified. If a specimen from any length fails because of lack
: M1 c1 r+ `) v7 rof ductility prior to satisfactory completion of the first step of
4 l0 t' r% |& k2 {& v- m$ U$ ethe flattening test requirement, that pipe shall be rejected/ v9 o5 ]; P5 ]# O2 s: C
subject to retreatment in accordance with Specification A 999/
, v% E. J5 ^% w: ?/ D  U/ l$ A7 CA 999M and satisfactory retest. If a specimen from any length
- F1 @- s$ N1 k1 h/ \" J9 p6 S; Q- Nof pipe fails because of a lack of soundness that length shall be
6 Y. B+ X5 Y3 Erejected, unless subsequent retesting indicates that the remaining
* v# I7 J- S# n' k1 n, qlength is sound. The bend test of 13.2 shall be substituted
- D4 S3 l6 S$ h9 }4 Zfor the flattening test for pipe whose diameter exceeds NPS 25" y3 q- D$ ?' k; i. s; I
and whose diameter to wall thickness ratio is 7.0 or less.
