ALZEN 305 and ALZEN 305 SE are ZnAlCu-alloys with excellent anti friction properties which have been developed by Voestalpine Linz/Austria during WW2. During WW2, it was difficult to get high purity zinc.

Alzen is also known as "White bronze" due to its clear colour and excellent bearing properties superior to bronze.

l. K ]: B' H4 DAlzen 305 can be used to replace phosphor bronze in some bearing applications, particularly for high loads and low speeds. This alloy can also be extruded. |
