Unable to startup Wildfire 4.0 with only the logo appeared then disappeared.# Y( ~6 B/ k* a- g

6 h: }4 r1 y: d9 dWhen startup Wildfire 4.0, only the logo appear then disappear, Wildfire 4.0 cannot be launched.1 G, ?6 @% p# }2 I6 f

Resolutions:- k5 t7 Z% _" I; D7 m8 y( \
This issue happened when there are two different versions ofPro/ENGINEER installed on one machine and they are share the same cache.

To resolve this issue, there are two ways:, F# U( T- j5 D) j# y+ d
# |( Z0 P; Y0 T; ^7 Y: I4 D& V
One way is to delete the cache before startup Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0.) c& V; u5 X+ o8 W
>> Browse to C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator（or yourlogin name）\Application Data\PTC\ProENGINEER\Wildfire\.wf, delete the.wf folder.
4 ^5 z2 c$ K- g>> If you had set system environment PTC_WF_ROOT, please delete the folder under PTC_WF_ROOT.$ ]: Y, \) u: Q: ~! Y8 A7 @; ^
) H- @# x# L8 A$ a( YThe other way is to add system environment at Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 4.0 startup command.
7 F8 `- |6 t$ ]- V |+ }" X3 J5 _0 b>> Open the Pro/ENGINEER startup file .psf (at<proe_loadpoint>\bin folder) with wordpad, add a line"ENV=PTC_WF_ROOT=D:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4", the valueD:\workspace\windchill\Forwf4 is the path for writing cache. (Refer tobellowed picture) |
