, y4 n. N' n% d2 NThe materials shall be classified HB, HB40 or HB75 (HB = horizontal burning) in accordance

8.4.1 A material classified HB shall conform to one of the following criteria:% h, P0 W* m+ Z# R& z
a) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;
8 d- \7 |2 M/ `/ F3 Ab) if the test specimens continue to burn with a flame after removal of the ignition source, the
3 p" d, k2 A( _ {flame front shall not pass the 100 mm mark;
4 }2 q) `; v; s2 D% a" {: ec) if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark, it shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding' Y8 m. o9 r6 K F' c
40 mm/min for a thickness of 3,0 mm to 13,0 mm or a burning rate not exceeding
& T' D* a& S$ \* d& q* e75 mm/min for a thickness of less than 3,0 mm;
1 e/ H J) H! ed) if the linear burning rate does not exceed 40 mm/min for tests with 3,0 mm ± 0,2 mm
: p& C5 `' J, S& ?thickness, it shall automatically be accepted down to a 1,5 mm minimum thickness.* W# b6 Q6 r9 s% {8 T
8.4.2 A material classified HB40 shall present one of the following criteria:) K% i& P4 V7 @4 n8 _& C; v U
a) it shall not visibly burn with a flame after the ignition source is removed;

- B6 a) C+ Q: k( s# o8.4.3 A material classified HB75 shall not have a linear burning rate exceeding 75 mm/min, if the flame front passes the 100 mm mark. |
